Responsibilities of the Data Intake Pharmacy Technician:

Accurately create and maintain patient profiles in the pharmacy electronic records system

Enter prescription information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and other required data

Communicate with healthcare providers and internal teams to obtain missing information when necessary

Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient confidentiality
