This is a senior individual-contributor role embedded within a large, legacy Microsoft SQL Server Critical BI ecosystem that has served the organization for nearly two decades. The successful candidate will bring a governance-first mindset to a technically complex environment, owning data quality frameworks, lineage tracking, compliance enforcement, and cross functional risk assessments while collaborating closely with DBA and DevOps functions.

This role demands both depth and rigor someone equally comfortable reading an execution plan, reviewing a CI/CD pipeline, and authoring governance documentation that meets audit standards.
