Role Overview There is a wide range of Data responsibilities within this QR team so the hire will need to be a savvy data engineer with experience wrangling data, optimising data systems as well as building new ones from scratch.
Responsibilities - Onboarding new datasets
- Financial and alt structure and unstructured data
- Data cleaning and standardisation
- Data streaming and pipelining
- Data analysis interface with Quants, PMs and QDs to understand the data needs of their research
Required Skills - Python
- SQL
- AWS, Azure, GCP
- Airflow, Snowflake
- Experience with CI/CD
- DevOps experience
- Experience with common financial data sets e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FactSet, S&P Global, CapIQ
