Data Engineer

We require a Data Engineer and this is an office-based position.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Modifying the database structure, as necessary, from information given by application developers.
2. Enrolling users and maintaining system security.
3. Controlling and monitoring user access to the database.
4. Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database.
5. Maintaining archived data.
6. Contacting database vendor for technical support.
7. Generating various reports by querying from the database as per need.
8. Perform database monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning.
9. Optimize database access and allocate/re-allocate database resources for optimum configuration, database performance, and cost.
10. Manage schema changes and implementations.
11. Implement advanced database security features.
12. Audit user activity to ensure integrity and performance of the database.
