TEKsystems is partnering with a client looking for a Data Center Facility Operations Engineer to manage and maintain critical infrastructure within a large-scale data center environment. You'll operate and maintain a broad range of mission-critical systems — with a strong emphasis on electrical and HVAC — including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, chillers, cooling towers, and computer room air handlers, while ensuring all safety procedures are followed. You'll perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment using detailed technical procedures, and monitor facility systems through BMS, EPMS, and HMI platforms. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Technical degree and brings up to two years of relevant experience, with electrical and/or HVAC trade certifications strongly preferred. Experience in other mission-critical environments such as hospitals or military facilities is also a plus.
