About the job Data Capturer and Filing Administrator
Job purpose:
The Data Capturer will be responsible for the capturing of data from various source documents into the computer system for storage, processing and management purposes.
Duties / responsibilities:
- Entering and updating information into relevant databases.
- Ensuring data is backed up.
- Scanning documents into electronic format or filing paper documents into storage systems
- Entering data into computer databases and maintaining records of stored files
- Processing insurance claims by entering data into an automated system
- Reviewing documents for accuracy and ensuring they are ready to be filed with the court or other authority
- Contacting clients to gather additional information
- Maintaining the security of confidential information by following data security procedures
