**Summary:**

**The Medical Director of the Laboratory delegates the performance of the following duties for moderate and high complexity testing. These duties are to be performed with no direct supervision. Direct review of the work is not required prior to reporting patient test results on a preliminary basis. Final results issued after review by the Cytogenetics Director or Medical Director.**
