Job description:

• Perform chromosome analysis and case review on all sample types – bone marrow, blood, prenatal, and tissues.
• Perform case review and case analysis at the highest productivity level with 100% accuracy.
• Perform wet lab duties including sample set up, harvest, slide dropping, and banding. Tech will perform other wet lab duties as needed.
• Suggest and implement process improvements and contribute to protocol development.
• Demonstrate successful collaboration with others.
• Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and provide guidance and oversee the activities of lower-level personnel.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues in the wet lab.
