Position Overview
+ Assist physicians during EP procedures, including diagnostic studies, ablations, and device implants (pacemaker, ICD, CRT).
+ Prepare procedure rooms, sterile fields, and specialized EP equipment (recording systems, ablation generators, mapping systems).
+ Operate and troubleshoot EP monitoring and recording systems, documenting intracardiac signals and procedural data.
+ Support sterile technique and assist with patient preparation, draping, and positioning.
+ Monitor patient status during procedures in collaboration with RN and anesthesia teams; promptly escalate clinical changes.
+ Assist with venous/arterial access setup, catheter preparation, and equipment handling.
+ Participate in device interrogations, programming support, and post-procedure care as applicable.
+ Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and EP reporting systems.
