Summary This vacancy is for a GS-0303-5, Customer Service Clerk located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, CG UNIFORM DISTRIBUTION CENTER -UDC in CAPE MAY, New Jersey. Responsibilities You will serve as a Customer Service Clerk and be responsible for performing a variety of recruit service and clerical functions in support of uniform issues at the UDC. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Provides customer service support during uniform issuance operations. Processes uniform issuance and return transactions in automated inventory systems. Maintains uniform issuance records and supporting documentation. Processes uniform returns and replacements and performs routine inspections. Uses automated systems to manage uniform, inventory, and administrative data.
