Summary About the Position: This position is located in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the Department of Defense Education Activity. This region encompasses for school districts in the Mid-Atlantic portion of the United States. This is an open and continuous announcement, the first cutoff will be 04/13/2026, subsequent lists will be pulled approximately every 3 weeks and/or as needed. Responsibilities Disinfects restrooms to include urinals, toilet bowls, and sinks. Dusts, waxes, and/or polishes furniture and fixtures. Empties waste baskets. Occasionally works on ladders/scaffolds to clean. Sets up and tears down for special events or assemblies. Sweeps, mops, strips, scrubs, waxes and/or polishes floors using brooms, industrial-type floor scrubbers and other heavy powered cleaning equipment. Opens and closes school following all security procedures.
