JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY :

Under general supervision, performs all CT procedures. Operates computed tomography and radiography equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images. Prepares examination area, positions patients for procedures and adjusts imaging equipment to correct setting for examinations done within the CT department. Assists physicians in the performance of examinations. Oversees patient flow to ensure patients are seen within a timely manner. Ensures the staffing schedule supports the patient volume.

Education

Completion of a one (1) year CT training program at an approved school of diagnostic imaging or a minimum of two (2) years of supervised on-the-job training.

Experience

At least 3 years’ experience as a staff CT Technologist
