An employee with responsibility/accountability for performing all simulation procedures along with basic dosimetry tasks. Responsible for correctly planning and simulating radiation treatment fields as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. Assists radiation therapists when needed and works with the medical physicist with the preparation and delivery of brachytherapy radiation treatments. Works as a team member toward defining the mission, goals, budget and performance standards for the department to produce a desired outcome in cooperation with other health care team members.
Job Requirements
Education Required: Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Radiological Technology. Preferred: Completed 24 month course in Radiologic Technology or a Bachelor’s Degree
Experience Required: Successful completion of a CT Training Program OR 1 Year CT experience Preferred: 1-2 Years Related Experience.
