Penny Appeal Canada is looking for an excited, engaged, and committed youth from visible minority/racialized communities, including new immigrants/refugees, to work with the fundraising team as a Fund Development Officer. The role focuses on developing relationships between Penny Appeal Canada and the community while implementing, facilitating, and managing programming, volunteering, and fundraising strategies and initiatives. This work includes maintaining a database of stakeholders and donors, with an emphasis on timely strategic actions to maximize and diversify awareness and revenue to fund Penny Appeal Canada’s initiatives and programs. Other tasks include organizing, coordination, management, delivery and execution of fundraising and volunteer events, organizing and managing program distribution events, including community engagement, and updating senior management through regular progress and activity reports.
