Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Nurse Practitioner for Critical Care to work locum shifts in Cumberland, MD. Starting 8/1/26- ongoing, with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The NP Critical Care Role:

• Critical care need starts 8/1/26- ongoing
• Shifts Coverage- 7p-7a Mon Sunday- 10-14 shifts per month
• Critical care role- manage post-operative cardiovascular patients as well as general sick patients, write daily progress notes, round on patients alongside nursing and surgical teams multiple times per night, and enter/initiate appropriate orders for the patient population
• Required- perform procedures, including central line placement and intubations.

Requirements of NP Critical Care role:

• MD state license; active, unrestricted
• Active Board certification
• Certifications- ACLS
• 1-2 years of critical care experience
