The role:
The Crisis Service will provide a comprehensive multi-agency team approach of care, rapidly responding to people in acute psychiatric distress, until the crisis has been resolved and the service user is linked to on going care. This will be delivered on the basis of least restrictive alternative and minimum disruption to the lives of service users, and offer a credible alternative to hospitalisation, whenever possible.
