Position Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Consultant to join our Collections Team in our Auckland office. The role requires an energetic and empathetic individual with strong written and verbal communication, customer service, problem‑solving and negotiation skills. You will handle both inbound and outbound calls, providing options and solutions over the phone.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from the Collections queue, ranging from simple balance inquiries to complex requests.
- Make outbound calls (manual and dialler campaigns) to discuss overdue accounts and formulate plans to remedy arrears.
- Respond to customers with overdue accounts to arrange repayments.
- Load and monitor arrangements within Heartland Bank’s Collections systems.
- Liaise with internal customers and external introducers to solve customer needs.
- Promote digital solutions and assist clients with their digital journey.
