Position Overview
Job Title: Court of Protection Lawyer
Reporting to: Head of Department & Partners
Salary: Up to £60,000
Purpose:Manage Mental Capacity welfare matters in the Court of Protection.
Key Responsibilities- Handle Court of Protection welfare cases, with related Community Care and Judicial Review matters (where appropriate).
- Maintain high professional standards in line with SRA, Lexcel, and internal policies.
- Advise clients, manage caseloads, and ensure files and records are compliant.
- Supervise and support junior team members where required.
- Contribute to business development and maintain strong client relationships.
- Work towards Law Society Court of Protection (Welfare) Accreditation.
