- Carry a caseload of clients in substance abuse treatment, and provide comprehensive counseling, case management, and substance abuse rehabilitation services for each client assigned to this caseload per the program requirements of the agency's current policy and procedures.
- Perform initial and ongoing client assessment (to include ASI evaluations, ASAM case reviews) for each client assigned to this counselor's caseload.
- Develop goals and objectives responsive to client need and areas of impairment, and formulate initial and ongoing treatment planning and related agency required documentation.
- Assist the clients in establishing reachable goals, and record the clients' progress in pursuit of these goals.
- Attend weekly consultation with clinical staff team for purpose of reviewing the appropriate level of care per ASAM criteria, and discuss progress or lack of progress of each client.
