Job Description
As a Field Cost Engineer, you will report to the Project Manager and/or Senior Project Engineer on a prominent transportation project in downtown Los Angeles, CA. Your role involves performing routine and non-routine cost/estimating assignments that require the application of resource monitoring and control principles, techniques, and technical knowledge of construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of project reports.
Responsibilities

+ Perform budget analysis and cost estimating for construction projects.

+ Coordinate with the operations team on design-bid-build projects to support the development of cost and schedule proposals.

+ Finalize cost proposals for submission to the client.

+ Assist with change order management.

+ Review and develop scope of work packages for change order pricing.
