Position Overview
The Cost Engineer will be responsible for managing and controlling all aspects of project costs, including budgeting, estimating, forecasting, and cost reporting for projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project budgets, cost estimates, and cost plans Monitor project costs and provide accurate and timely cost reports to project stakeholders Review and analyze project cost variances and recommend corrective actions Conduct cost risk assessments and develop contingency plans Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely cost forecasting Provide support to project managers in developing cost control strategies Participate in project meetings and provide cost-related updates and recommendations Collaborate with procurement and contracts teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing and contracting strategies Review and evaluate change orders and claims for cost impa...
