Produces, reviews, and interprets daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports covering areas such as production costs, inventory levels, yield performance, utility consumption, and labour metrics, ensuring alignment with plant objectives, company policies, and GAAP standards.
Partners with plant leadership to evaluate variances between actual and standard costs, including impacts related to raw materials, finished goods, and purchase price variance (PPV), while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting overall financial performance analysis.
Collaborates with operations on departmental initiatives by providing ongoing financial insight, identifying trends, and recommending opportunities to improve efficiency and cost control.
Conducts product costing reviews and audits to confirm that standard costs accurately reflect current manufacturing processes.
