An established manufacturing business in the footwear industry is looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to take full ownership of the costing function.



This is a hands-on role with real impact, working closely with production and leadership to improve cost visibility, drive efficiencies, and support better commercial decision-making across the business.



Key Responsibilities:

-Take full ownership of product costing (materials, labour, overheads)

-Develop and refine costing models and systems

-Analyse variances and identify cost-saving opportunities

-Partner closely with production and operations teams

-Deliver clear, actionable reporting to support decision-making

-Drive improved cost control across the manufacturing process
