We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to support accurate cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting for our client's frequent needs. This role will typically partner closely with operations and finance teams to monitor costs, improve margins, and ensure financial data integrity.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities

+ Analyze and track product, labor, and overhead costs

+ Maintain and update cost accounting systems and standards

+ Prepare cost reports, variance analyses, and margin analysis

+ Support month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations

+ Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and inventory analysis

+ Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities

+ Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
