Position Overview
This role travels across sites to support communication of process changes, resolve workflow questions, and promote alignment with PALM standards. The Coordinator supports defect management to improve specimen quality, escalates concerns to appropriate teams, and may provide regulatory guidance for Physician Office Laboratories (POL) related to CLIA compliance. This position also contributes to standardization efforts, strategic relationship building, and quality improvement initiatives across the system.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under supervision from laboratory leadership, may lead the preparation and delivery of training efforts to improve quality for Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (PALM) and the activities related to point-of-care (POC) activities outside of the usual laboratory.
