:Under supervision, prepares and cooks food.
Shift Details
Leads the work of the associates in the department. Acts as a resource and provides technical support.Assists with creating new and substitute menu items.Reviews menus daily to determine quantities of food and supplies needed.Prepares food for cafeteria and catering using creativity, quality, consistency, and promptness.Services as resource to educate/coach follow and comply with recipe standards. Demonstrate various cooking techniques.Monitors and replenishes food as needed for cafeteria, catering, or patient trays.Ensures food is being handled and stored to Hazardous Analysis of Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines.Operates various types of kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness.
