Position Overview
**Job Description**
**General Purpose:** Monitor and assist with the process of cooking and molding of cheese curds. Work with lab department to meet customer's expectations of cheese product.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Adjust temperatures cheese cook temps as needed for different recipes
+ Mold cheese to proper weights and shapes
+ Adds correct amount of smoke flavoring to vats as required
+ Grind and add rework to the tables
+ Change molds as needed
+ Submit sample for lab testing
+ Complete production logs accurately
+ Ensure correct vat separation from the cooker to the brine
+ CIP the cooker
+ Performs table operator duties and covers them for lunch and breaks
+ Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
+ Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive
