Summary:
The Cook prepares hot foods for patients, residents, cafeteria visitors, and Adult Day Health participants utilizing HACCP standards, standardized recipes, and appropriate dietary restrictions and following regulatory agency standards.
Responsibilities:
β’ Prepares all hot and cold food for all service areas according to appropriate menus using standardized, approved recipes.
β’ Packages and stores prepared meals and ingredients according to foodservice safety standards.
β’ Organizes, cleans and sanitizes work area for effective, safe use.
β’ Produces food with a minimum of waste of resources, including time or ingredients.
