Duties and Responsibilities:

May include all or part of the following but not limited to:
+ Review menu prior to preparation of food.
+ Assist in planning regular and special diet menus in accordance with sanitary regulations
+ Assist in establishing food service production to assure that meals are prepared on time
+ Prepare meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
+ Prepare food in accordance with recipes and special diets
+ Prepare substitute foods
+ Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
+ Coordinate dietary services with other departments as necessary
+ Assist in inventorying and storing in-coming food, supplies, etc. as necessary
