Job Description
The Controls Technician is responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing packaging equipment—primarily aseptic thermoform machines—at customer sites, with a strong emphasis on controls platforms and PLC-based systems. This role ensures optimal machine performance, delivers high-quality technical support, and contributes to long-term customer satisfaction and relationships through expert field service and technical guidance.
Responsibilities

+ Install, commission, maintain, and repair new and existing packaging equipment, with a focus on aseptic thermoform machines at customer sites.

+ Perform field audits on installed equipment to assess performance, reliability, and compliance with specifications.

+ Troubleshoot and support PLC-based control systems, including Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, Codesys, and SCL platforms.
