Tyler Houk (Practice Director) with Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the non-profit sector based in Fresno, California. This role involves managing the daily functions of the Business Office, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining internal controls, and supervising the audit process. The Controller will also be in charge of the budgeting process and regular financial reporting.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Business Office and all accounting functions

• Ensure compliance with university, state, federal, and other applicable policies and procedures

• Control the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for accurate accounting of business activities

• Ensure timely, complete, and accurate month-end close in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
