Position Overview
Description Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5-7+ years of public accounting and/or industry experience, including audit and review exposure
• Significant homebuilding or construction accounting experience (required)
• Extensive experience with land development accounting, job costing, and project budgeting (required)
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP
• Demonstrated experience managing financial close and general ledger functions
• Possess exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively in a deadline driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Newstar Constellation Systems
• CPA (active or inactive)
• Experience working in a multi-entity or intercompany environment
• Exposure to Community Facilities District (CFD) cost tracking and municipal reporting processes
