Position Overview

Job Description
Our client is a busy local engineering business with a strong client base across the UK and Ireland. They are now seeking an additional Contracts Manager with a background on the steel or construction sector to join their South Down based team.

The successful Contracts Manager will ensure that all work is carried out to the specifications and to the customer’s satisfaction within time and financial constraints.

Responsibilities:
Maintain a broad customer base both through repeat business and the network of contacts within the construction and development industry
 Carry out tender reviews. 
Assist estimator with Take offs if necessary and identify any site implications which may impact on productivity. 
Give indicative production rates, plant cost and subcontract feedback to the estimator.
