Position Overview
Manages the negotiation of assigned facility, professional, and ancillary third-party payor contracts between Seattle Children's Healthcare System (SCHS) and health plans, Medicaid agencies, and other payors, with combined revenue totaling more than $4B annually. Performs advanced contract editing and drafting, develops rate proposals, and represents Seattle Children's Hospital in negotiations with payors and state agencies. Acts as the primary liaison with other departments concerning assigned contracts and is responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships with payors, agencies, and internal customers.
**Note: This is a remote position for the following states: WA, AK, MT, GA, & FL. The pay range shown is for Washington, and Alaska only.**
**Required Education and Experience**
Bachelorβs degree in a relevant field, or an associate degree or certificate in paralegal studies, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
