PAHT have been awarded the funding to support the vision for the West Essex Community Diagnostics Centre (CDC) in providing timely access to diagnostics for all of the West Essex population, tackling health inequalities and achieving the 28-day Faster Diagnosis Standard (FDS) for all potential cancer and non-cancer patients. Clinical patient pathways will be joined up between primary, community and secondary care by redesigning existing healthcare provision to include elective and non-elective models of care and extension of opening hours.

The Radiology department at the Princess Alexandra Hospital is actively seeking to recruit a Consultant Radiologist with a sub-specialty interest in Head and Neck Imaging (any other specialities will be considered). This position will consist of 10 PAs per week, with an additional PA for on‑call commitments.
