This is a fixed term post for Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult Psychiatry to work on Fitzmary 1 ward. FM1 is a female ward based at Bethlem Royal Hospital that focuses on providing treatment and support to women that are experiencing an acute mental health crisis. The post has become available following the relocation of the long-term post holder. The post is full-time for 10 sessions a week (working hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday). The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team and oversee the delivery of individualised care for all patients admitted to the ward. The role requires collaboration with the ward team, families, and external agencies to ensure safe and effective management of acute mental health conditions, focusing on recovery-oriented approaches and timely discharge planning.
