The neurosurgeon provides neurosurgical patients with pre‑operative care including diagnosis, operative care of all major and minor procedures in the field of neurosurgery, and postoperative care. The neurosurgeon also provides preventive care according to approved procedures as part of an integrated program of curative preventive services.

• Provides comprehensive and diligent neurosurgical care to all assigned patients, including pre‑ and post‑operative care and such neurosurgical procedures within the incumbent’s competence.
• Performs professional duties at the OPD to render outpatient neurosurgical care.
• Provides consultation services to physicians and other surgeons.
