Consultant in Genitourinary and General Internal Medicine

This is the first substantive, combined consultant post in Genitourinary Medicine and General Medicine in GSTT. The post holder will provide general and complex GUM, including LARC and a specialist area to be defined, and 8 weeks of internal medicine cover per year divided between ward cover and the acute assessment unit.

Main duties of the job

This is a part‑time (8 programmed activities/0.8 whole time equivalent) role. The post holder will provide complex sexual health care, leadership within the sexual and reproductive health department, training, and general clinical and managerial responsibilities in the department.

The post holder will contribute to clinical, teaching, audit and research support for the department and provide management support for the medical staff, including oversight of referrals and hospital/primary care queries.
