Overview

James Paget University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a Consultant in Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine to a newly created permanent post. The successful candidate will deliver inpatient care within the Short Stay Medical Unit as part of the Acute Medicine service, alongside providing outpatient and inpatient care for patients with diabetes and endocrine conditions including managing Diabetes patients using Hybrid Closed Loop technology, delivering general diabetes and endocrinology clinics, and supporting antenatal diabetes services.

Responsibilities

The Consultant Endocrinologist will share responsibility for the delivery of a comprehensive Diabetes and Endocrine service, alongside management of acute inpatients within our Short Stay Medical Unit located within the urgent and emergency care floor.
