The geriatric medicine team at Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (SASH) is expanding and the future is exciting. We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Geriatrician to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. We have recently developed our 5 day frailty SDEC service and are now expanding it to cover 7 days. We are also part of the National Neighbourhood Health Implementation Programme (NNHIP) trial site and part of Surrey East which hosts one of the national Frailty collaborative hubs.

We are looking for 4 substantive consultant colleagues to join our wonderful team. These posts will work within our already established GEMINI team and the current 4 substantive consultants in post. This team uses an evidence-based approach to develop services which integrate medicine for the elderly into acute medicine, emergency medicine, surgery and the community.
