The successful candidate will provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care, support acute medical services, and contribute to service development, teaching, and clinical governance in line with UK best practice standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver consultant-level care for acute and general medical inpatients
Participate in Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and general medical ward rounds
Provide specialist input for complex medical cases and multi-morbidity patients
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, allied health professionals, and specialty consultants
Contribute to acute medical on-call rotas, including out-of-hours and weekend cover as required
