JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Construction Field Technician at DLZ supports civil and infrastructure projects by performing field inspections, data collection, and construction observation activities. This role works closely with project engineers and clients to verify work aligns with plans, specifications, and safety standards. Daily tasks may include documenting field conditions, collecting measurements or samples, and preparing clear field reports. The position requires comfort working outdoors on active job sites, strong attention to detail, and dependable communication with project teams.

DAY TO DAY:

- Perform on‑site material testing of soils, aggregates, asphalt, and concrete during active construction.
- Conduct field inspections, sampling, testing, and routine maintenance of testing equipment.
