Position Overview
Construction Junior Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects. This role analyzes project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine material, labor, and equipment costs. The Estimator works closely with preconstruction, project management, subcontractors, and clients to support successful bid submissions and project budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
Preconstruction & Estimating:
- Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and final bid estimates.
- Develop and maintain cost databases and historical pricing.
