**Job Title: Construction Heavy Equipment Mechanic**

**Job Description**

This role maintains, repairs, and services heavy construction and demolition equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic inspects machinery, diagnoses complex mechanical and electrical issues, performs repairs and preventive maintenance, and supports both shop and occasional field operations.

**Responsibilities**

+ Inspect excavators, drills, breakers, semi trucks, and related support equipment for wear, leaks, damage, and performance issues.
+ Diagnose mechanical problems in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, braking systems, and equipment attachments using diagnostic tools and operator feedback.
+ Perform repairs or replace faulty components, including hydraulic pumps, cylinders, tracks, engines, electrical parts, and brake systems.
