Position Overview

Summary You will serve as a CONSERVATION LAW ENFORCEMENT OFF in the ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS DIVISION of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION, NEW RIVER. Responsibilities You will perform routine and special enforcement operations to assure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. You will enforce laws respective to illegal disposal of hazardous waste or pollutants, illegal hunting and fishing, disturbance of historical or archeological sites and provide protection of critical or sensitive habitat. You will gather evidence, perform extensive investigations, identify responsible parties, keep records and initiate appropriate enforcement actions. You will plan for and conduct collection of biological data such as deer surveys, deer harvest data, and alligator census information.
