VIA Rail Canada is modernizing its services and infrastructure, and the Advisor, Security Operations plays a crucial role in enhancing the company’s security framework. The role focuses on safeguarding VIA Rail’s customers, employees, infrastructure, and the public throughout the network.

Responsibilities

• Manage the security contracts that involve deployment of security guards throughout the VIA Rail network, including staffing, invoicing, complaints, adjustments to services, liaising with third‑party providers, and assessing security needs for each location.
• Manage the security needs for all VIA Rail assets, providing design solutions that integrate physical and dynamic security initiatives with technology.
