Computer Modeling & Simulation Staff Specialist/Engineer P55

Responsibilities

• Perform fluid flow analyses using ANSYS FLUENT.
• Perform buoyancy analyses using Rhino/Orca.
• Perform structural analyses using NX NASTRAN and/or Altair suite of FEA tools.
• Perform fatigue analyses using Glyphworks/NCode.
• Research new CAE areas, products and methodologies and implement them in GDLS-C common procedures.
• Perform test data analyses and simulation validations.
• Work in small temporary project teams with other engineers and provide ongoing CAE support.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Conduct vehicle mobility studies and vehicle dynamics simulations.
• Create advanced controls system models to evaluate various controls algorithms and strategies for automotive systems.
