The Compounding Manager leads daily operations in the Compounding and Pre‑Weigh departments, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. This role oversees staffing, scheduling, training, and process optimization while partnering closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain consistent output, support continuous improvement, and uphold strict quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities

+ Lead, coach, and develop a team of compounders and pre‑weigh staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.

+ Plan and manage daily staffing and scheduling for Compounding and Pre‑Weigh to meet production demands and service levels.

+ Train and mentor new employees, ensuring they understand compounding procedures, GMP requirements, and safety protocols.

+ Optimize labor utilization, tank usage, and batching efficiency to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
