We have an exciting opportunity to join our Regulatory team as a Compliance Officer focused on Contaminated Land. This is a permanent full-time position which can be based in one of our offices located in Whakatane, Rotorua, or Tauranga.

In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Contaminated Land Specialist, to ensure that the contaminated land function is managed well across our entire region. Your responsibilities will include,

• Undertaking technical reviews of contaminated land reports, analysing laboratory data, and providing comment to internal and external stakeholders.
• Raising public and industry awareness of council roles and responsibilities by providing specialist and up-to-date advice on contaminated land and pollution prevention.
