Ensure that the automotive business units operate in accordance with Principal’s guidelines of business conduct and applicable laws and regulations of the territory of operations by developing and implementing an appropriate compliance framework. Design and conduct “Compliance Awareness” training sessions to educate staff at all levels about the importance of compliance and the applicability in their respective job role. Perform “Compliance Reviews” to assess operational gaps with regard to the compliance framework. (E.g. compliance of contracts, transactions, offers etc. with the requirements defined in the compliance framework). Recommend and agree remedial measures with BU management to address compliance gaps and follow-up on implementation of the same. Build and maintain appropriate relationships with Principal’s Compliance team and ensure that any changes in compliance requirements are understood and incorporated in business operations.
